After 10 years at The World of Interiors magazine, I left to look after my two young daughters. One day, I came across the story of Virginia Lee Burton and the Folly Cove Designers, and inspiration struck. I picked up a pencil and started to draw after a fifteen year absence, and for the first time I experimented with lino printing and natural dyes. Our family dining table and the garden became my workspace. Once the children had fallen asleep at night, I was able to explore my creativity. In the past few years, I’ve found myself making things for my own interiors, items such as fabrics and tiles. I started my own business so that I could offer my designs to others and I hope my work brings you the same joy I’ve experienced in making it.
